Unwanted weight gain is often followed by a hurried search for the perfect diet plan. Everyone wants a plan which will work magic and melt away the pounds within a few days. Sadly though, real weight loss does not happen so easily and if you want to sustain it over a long period, your diet needs to become a part of your lifestyle. You might starve yourself for a day or two to lose weight for a special occasion but this weight will surely come back unless you are willing to starve yourself for the rest of your life. So, it is very important to choose a diet plan that you can see yourself maintaining over a prolonged period.

Im sure youve heard the saying fail to plan, plan to fail. I know Ive heard it more than enough and Im not a fan of it. Some people fail to plan because they dont know how to do so, and this is especially true when it comes to a complete fitness program. It doesnt mean their intentions are to fail. They probably didnt know where to begin and out of frustration they gave up.
